Highland Park Mural Unveiling 11.21.10

Sycamore Grove Archway

On Sunday, November 21st at 2:30 the mural Haramoknga – Place Where People Gather will be unveiled on the Sycamore Grove Archway / Glenmary Stairs  along the 4600 block of Figueroa Street, across from Sycamore Grove Park. After 15 months of hard work by LA Commons lead artists Pola Lopez and Heriberto Luna, and Highland Park youth artists from Franklin High School and Academia Avance, the mural is ready for its installation and debut. This will surly be a highlight of the day’s activities connected to Northeast L.A.’s 18th Annual Discovery Tour. Don’t miss it!
